Up North

Les and I made a trip a couple of weeks ago to Michigan's UP. We hiked a little, but mostly just caught up as sisters and watched a lot of tv on my mac. Good times.

What

I spent about 15 minutes this afternoon making photos of these preschoolers hanging out in their igloo made of milk jugs. When I stuck my camera in the opening this is the face I got. Oh to be young and carefree.

Again

It's February and I don't know why I could possibly think that the snow would be over. Another storm system came in this afternoon. I hope spring will show up soon.

John's new love

We spent today looking for a new coffee pot since the old one we had left more water on the counter than coffee in a cup. Here she is and after the first cup I have to say, "not bad".

Happy Birthday Leslie

She's 23 today. We ate birthday cake last night.

Gymnastics

I spent part of the afternoon at the local gym. I was impressed with all the fancy things those kids could do. I wanted to take gymnastics when I was little and did for a summer. I wish I would have stuck with it.

Warmer

Today was the first day in what seems like weeks that the temperature got high enough that the puddles didn't freeze. It was nice not to have the wind biting my skin. I wish I could have spent more time outside today.

Even the sledding hill stayed pretty busy as the sun started to set. I miss spring.
