Alpaca Day
I had know idea there were such a thing until this morning when my assignmnet card read I was going to photograph the fiber yielding creatures. They were pleased as punch to have visitors exploring their pasture at the Pine River Alpaca Farm. Happy National Alpaca farm Day!

Drivin' in the country
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't get a chance to cruise down a dirt road somewhere. I like dirt roads... They make me feel free. I'm going to try and make more photos while on my drives. Fall is here. The corn is starting to turn. Here's one from my drive along Norman Road about lunch time.

Players
I brought this back for the sports editor tonight and he hated it so I'm posting it here. The assignment was to take photos of the kids at lacrosse camp. He cant get over that these kids don't have any heads. I think it was my best shot today. I guess you can't win them all, but I still like this photo.

"Don't stop believing"
Kathy got married this weekend after dating her high school sweetheart for 8 years. There were moments when I thought to myself that these two might not make it but in the end there are no better words sum up the weekend than "I do" but only after kathy got the up-do of a life time.
I had some of the best times of my life with these two...let's just hope they make it back from Vegas with some killer stories to tell.

Side note
I found this painting last week and went back to visit it this morning. With the fine shared opinion of my sister I brought home the oil on canvis today from the thrift store. It was marked $100, I got it for $90. I have spent some time tonight "googleing" for more information about it. The only clue I have to go by is the signature. It reads Legrand in the bottom right corner. I want to know more about it and the artist. In the end it's still going to end up on my wall, without that huge gold frame.
Football, Homicide
Catherine is on the board of her condo association. Her backyard neighbor stabbed her neighbors husband twice with a knife Thursday according to Police. As a reporter and I chatted with the neighbors they all said the wife was a little crazy.
The Big Reds lost tonight because their first half turnovers. It's a first for the team this season. I'm sure there were some long faces in the lockerroom after the game.

Lofts
There are some new lofts downtown. If you like large dark spaces than this place is for you. The owners had an open house so people could check them out. This woman was checking out one of the balconies. She is going to be thilled tomorrow when she sees how bad her hair looked in the wind. You can't please them all. Tomorrow is Friday, that means football and all my troubles seem to melt away.

Kids and animals
Ralph once told me that the pictures that go over best with readers are those of kids and animals. Here is one of both. the kids were playing flag football in their front yard and the horses were out to Goodells County Park. It's Sunday and I have pasta and the ones I love waiting for me at home. Its time to get in my car.
